Alumni Assembly

Event Details:

Join inspirational Parkside Alumni and a gym full of current Parkside students for an afternoon of stories, performances, presentations and surprises.   The Alumni will show Parkside students what’s possible in their futures.  Come help them see all they can be and how it’s possible to overcome any obstacles they might face.

The program will include a cross-section of Parkside Alumni. We're not just looking for people who have become "famous" or "successful", but also for people who have inspirational stories to tell. We hope to find alumni to cover some of the following areas:
Business, Science, Technology, Education etc.
Arts, Music, Media, Sports
Medicine, Law, Politics
Police Services, the Canadian Forces
Cultural Diversity
LGBT
Humanitarian projects
Philanthropy
Family
Overcoming obstacles: e.g. handicaps, addictions, social pressures

It will follow with Meet-a-Mentor sessions where students spend some time with Alumni from a variety of industries and the arts.  Please contact us if you’d like to contribute to the assembly.  You’re also welcome to attend in the special Alumni reserved section.
